2D CAD Software

What are the 2D cad softwares available equal in quality to autocad? I tried Cadian but it is not good and no service.

Double CAD would be my recommendation as well...Comes from ISMI, the same people that brought you TurboCAD; now, I believe, ISMI and AutoCAD are actually the same company...

I looked at several of their websites, looking for a price....

It appears to be a secret....

So I sent them an email telling them that I don't bother even downloading the free 30 day test software unless I know what the price is going to be........why waste time on a probably too expensive for me personally, product?

I usually find that when prices are not prominently displayed, they are far too high.....whether that is fully true here I cannot (obviously) say......but it certainly taints the product for me personally......

Their sales department needs their collective backsides kicking for being so utterly stupid with regard to human nature......

I have a copy of TurboCad loaded on my PC; manuals loaded and gradually being printed!

One day in the future, I will actually start using it!
