Do not know about software, but your busbar will have a specific heat capacity, a specific resistance, as well as a fixed surface area, ambient temperature, natural or forced convection, etc.

How much current flows in your busbar? How much heat is dissipated? What is the measured temperature rise at a given current?

It is actually quite easy to predict what the temperature rise will be with a little knowledge and a few calculations.
