1998 Buick Park Avenue - Hubcap Removal

I have a 1988 Buick Park avenue . To take off wheel you need a tool to remove tha hub cap . I have been looking for over a year for the tool. I have never even seen one.-no luck It is a grate car in mint con.can any one till me where to look please

used to carry mine in the glove box or console...you are looking for a T-handle tool with hollow business end that has some matching splines for the little nut in the center of the hubcap. Check with the oem Jack/spare tire located in the trunk. Probably the last time you bought new tires the tire place kept it. Worst case, drill out heads then use standard bolts afterwards...there are not too many cap theives looking for those old fake wire wheel covers. Mine always made ticking sounds when moving slow too.

Try going to your local auto parts store. I know Auto Zone will 'lend' tools. Or go to a tire & wheel place. Or Sears automotive... My moms car had the same hub caps.
