What do you mean by "raft"? The kind that you use to float down a river? Or do you mean "rafter", which is something quite different?

Hello,

Do you mean to imply that you have a reinforced concrete mat foundation?

You haven't given us enough information to adequately answer your question!

Are there any bending moments and shear forces transferred through this construction joint of yours with their respective magnitudes and units? Concrete compression strength at 28-days age? Steel reinforcement passing through the joint? Rebar sizes, spacing, ASTM Grade? Rebar configuration? I could go on and on what information you need to supply.

There are plenty of design details available on the WWW, especially in Auto
CAD *.dwg format. The trick is knowing where to use exactly what joint configuration in your mat/raft.

Please do us all a big favor and consult with a Licensed/Registered Professional Engineer specializing in Structural Engineering that knows how to design said joints, or in other words you may end up with a building collapse and fatalities!!!!

Have a nice sunny day!!!
