LeTourneau Cranes - Main Hook Control

he main hook speed high and increase always Dc motor compound c6 driven by MG set

replaced speed limit and tacho generator but still same problem not ok

You probably have a loss of shunt field.

What is your location? Worked on similar M/G setups and can repair given enough time for research. Biggest trick is finding a "hands on" technician nearby.

Check your generator field control circuit. It should have a feedback loop from the generator output to a comparator that limits the speed. Depends on the manufacturing engineering.
