it's not that easy; I spend my life looking for datasheets. digchip.com is the best but you have to register - and they didn't have this one.

Some SMD supposedly because of the small size have the critical part number written on the bottom side of the package. Why would somebody deliberately do that, well nobody fixes electronics anymore, particularly SMD and only reverse engineers want to know what a part is without dismantling. Also, sometimes a large commercial consumer goods company has some parameter that they want different from an "off the shelf" JEDEC registered part. This means a new cryptic part number gets generated. Likely this gets done for the exact same reasons I mentioned before.

It's also possible that it is a proprietary ASIC in which case you will find nothing unless you work for JVC.

Hi kumarr68,

I have found what appears to be what you want, but I am unable to get to the site because it asks for for my username and password. But does not allow me to register.

If you or anyone else can solve this I would be grateful to know?
