what does NP mean in NP 2 ,3 in hume pipes for road crossings??

it is the non pressure pipe . and np1, np2 & np3 means strength of pipe. for road crossing go for np3. these pipe are used for generally of fire line,Electrical cable when they are under road cross.

The non pressure pipes (hume pipe) also used for irrigation and storm water usage.
