First, may I offer you my compliments on making through your first year of Civil Engineering studies and now are into the mid-term of your second year.
May I ask where you are located and what school you are attending? Generally, when I see B. Tech. I usually think of a community college two-year program where one receives an A.A.S. degree, then transfers to a 4-year engineering school where one receives a Bachelor of Tech. (B.T.) degree.
If we are to help you in selecting a mini-project topic we need to know what engineering and technology courses you have taken so far as well as you general interests. I think you'd better served by talking directly to your Academic Adviser, or the professor teaching the course that this project is a requirement, exactly what other students in the past have done. So far you have not offered much in the way of exactly how in-depth this project must be and what are the key elements that the professor requires that you to fulfill. A one line plea for help just doesn't give us much to go by. Do you understand where I'm coming from here?
And lastly, please please please learn to use the spell checker whenever you write something. To misspell a word like "engineering" as you have done in your OP is literally a crime because you're studying to become an engineer!!!! Potential employers will not be impressed by you lack of spelling and grammar accuracy!
