can anyone tell me if it's possible to copy a game cd/dvd to your hard drive and do setup in such a way that you don't have to keep putting the cd/dvd back in the machine to play the game. it would make lifr so much easier if i don't have to keep changing it for my daughter when she wants to play something else. she's only 4 so can not do it her self

If the games disk has a copyright protection mechanism which requires the cd/dvd to be present for the game to be play then I would recommend a product called Alcohol 120 http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/.

If it doesn't have a copyright protection mechanism then you can use ISO burn or Power ISO some other ISO tool to copy an ISO image of the disk to the harddrive and then mount the image using Virtual CD see http://www.virtualcd-online.com/vcd/apps/download/download.cfm?lg=0.
