My friend owns a company producing them. Send me your email address in private and I'll put you in touch with him.

Okay, thanks. I've forwarded your contact to my friend Simon. He'll get in touch with you shortly. Actually, I asked for it privately to protect your privacy.

I think the term,"fluorescent LED" is semantically flawed. There are apparently LED replacements for fluorescent lights, but those LED lights are not fluorescent.

Hope I'm not being too picky.

"Too picky" is like being "too rich". It can't happen.

Thanks! With your permission, I'd like to use that retort on my wife the next time she starts out on me for being anal about something.

Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lyn,

Nearly all white LED's are fluorescent, if you consider the whole package as a LED (They're actually blue LED's with a fluorescent coating). I agree with you in that it is semantically flawed. But let's forgive it; that "marketing license" is less misleading than the organic food label: are all of us who don't prefer organic food living upon inorganic stuff?

OK, that's fine with me. I can live with it. I can even adopt the term. It was a small thing anyway.

Your "organic food" analogy is a good one.

Cheers.
