12/22/2009 12:58 AM

Our company planned to purchased a 3 units of 2000 kw diesel generator. These 3 generator will be a standby unit and incase of power failure will automatically start. possible longest operation per day might be 8 hrs for 2 months period. for 10 months it will be a standby unit only except maybe for some emergency case that it will run for maximum of 2 hours.

Our number 1 URS is a 6000 kw capacity, 3phase, 60 hrtz. 2nd; is a synchronizing panels to syhchronize this 3 generators. 3rd; ATS and auto conroller.we are still undecided if we will purchase a 380 volt then step up to 13, 800 volts using transformer or direct 13,800 volts generator.

For now, I need your valued openions what are the other URS needed to make our proposed standby Generator efficient.
