If will have to be good with metal fabricating and electronics or know someone who is and have the nessiasry tools and equipment to do the actual work as well.

Your best conversion parts source may be a used commercial electric forklift. Its typically the most common and cost effective source for the big motor and speed controller you will need. Plus what you don't use from it still carries a good resale price for scrap iron when your done!

To convert a factory car to electric you will need to know metal fabrication like good welding and cutting techniques, have access to machining and other higher precision metal working equipment, and have good skills with higher powered electrical and electronics components and wiring due to major reworks of the original vehicles electrical system being needed as well as the actual installation of the drive motor and battery systems plus the primary power handling components and wiring.
