Casting Hydrogel

01/04/2010 7:48 AM

I am trying to cast liquid Hydrogel onto a carrier and dehumidify simultaneously. Any idea on how to approach this; I have some idea but I thought that consultation with a broader audience may unveil interesting methods.

Are you casting on sheet or roll stock?

What method are you using to cast? (Knife-over-roll, etc.)

What is the composition of the hydrogel? (That is % solids and what are the solvents?)

Need more info

Mike

Knife-over-roll may not work with this given the viscosity(about 10,000cp). Considering other methods and to cast onto carrier roll stock. Thanks in advance.
