1- If the requirement of air is more than the maximum FAD of the compressor it will never come up to the Set Point.

2- If it is established that the consuming ends are matched then look for leaks in the air delivery system as they can cause havoc with the system pressure.

In case there are ABSOLUTELY no line leakages and assuming that you have provided the correct consumption end figures theoretically the comporessors should build up pressure to the Set point (assuming that is within the range of the compressor).

However since they are not doing so therefore one question arises:

1- How many hours of operation the machines have done up to now?

2- What was done on the last maintenance activity?

3- Your ZR-315 machine is, as I understand, an Oil Free Screw compressor and water cooled. The range of pressures of the ZR machines is between 7 and 10 Bar.

4- I believe your screws have worn out to an extant that they no longer deliver the stipulated amount of air with the result that the pressure is never build up.

5- You must have your machine checked thoroughly for the working clearances and end seals etc.

I am looking for a small (and preferably quiet) compressor for running inside a house. I have found plenty of piston pump compressors (chug-chug-chug), but not really something that you could run a couple of small pneumatic devices off in your living room . I was thinking that the whirr of a screw compressor may be a bit more tolerable. I think I would only need about 10-20l/min, and pressure of 6 bar max. My voltage needs to be 230v, single phase, 50Hz.Thanks in advance.
