Copper Welding

What is the effect of arc welding on the electrical properities of copper wire at welding zone and at HAZ ?

when we weld copper for use in underground grounding we used to use CADwelds, but this method has been replaced buy using burndy copmresion fittings in our area.

Cadweld is suplied by Erico and Thermomold is their competion

Cad-weld is loads of fun to work with. I've had trouble with welds falling apart from time to time. It's always good to bang on the finished weld to make sure it bonded properly. Especially when welding in a ditch. Any moisture on the weld causes problems.
