01/15/2010 1:49 AM

I have faced a problem in oil lubricated Compressor condensate drainage, when I designed a srew compressor for auto industry , there was a problem of condensate drainage, for compressor room,so much condesate here, i have gone for polysep oil seperator, but at the auto drain trap in different location , what should be done bcoz pollution board give no clearance to discharge it into direct drain, i want to know can activated carbon filter (.003 ppm)can give almost oil free air, i dont want to go for oil free compressor bcoz its cost is three time of oil lubricated compressor

Most compressor manufactures offer a oil separator that will allow the condensate to discharge down the drain. And yes it does use activated charcoal.

this is the one we use
