Careers in Communications and Electronics

I m doing my final year engineering in Electronics & Communication in VTU, i want to know what are the opportunities in core area of my field for a BE student? After my graduation what are all kind of jobs are there in core electronics or communication field available???

Please help me , i dont know have any knowledge of the Electronics and Communication core Industries ??? How to know abt the Industries ?? Please suggest some way to find a core companies, and what the company expects from a BE student??

my my...why did you do the course if you don't know where you want to be and what you want to be? I thought that one would ascertain their goal in life and then find out how to go about getting there...doing a course is a stepping stone.

I feel that some (not necessarily yourself) pick a course that 'sounds good' and then does it blindly.

Speak to your university careers advisor / department. Also seek out short term employment to see what it is like in the field to give you a better real life idea of what you are after.
