I have a toroidal type transformer primary voltage is 415V 2 phase and secondary is 230V, 1.2KVA, how can I calculate the maximum load current in secondary

Divide the load kVA by the secondary voltage.

Dear all,

What does "2 phase" mean?

If both primary and secondary are single phase 2 wire, the gentlemen above is all correct.

In my appreciation of 2 phase it is a way of of pointing to 2 phases of a 3 phase system, this differentiates it from a phase and neutral supply.

compute the primary current and use the primary nd secundry voltage as ur turn ratio to arrive at the secondry current. Note the principles as it concerns current.
