Volume of piece x density of material. Steel ˜490 lb/ft3, aluminum ˜166.

Volume may be further broken down as cross-sectional area x length.

Most structural manufacturers have tables where it can be looked up, as do most engineering handbooks.

What's this "weighment"? It's just "weight." [Editor Crankshaft]
