how to measure the angle of section plane when it is making some angle with HP, is it clockwise or anticlockwise

Could you be a little more specific, please. Angles are usually given as acute, unless there is a process reason that you need to emphasize the angle. But, please, some details. What is HP (horizontal plane?)?

The usual convention is anticlockwise, but it could be clockwise if so specified.

What software are you using...you may need to upgrade

Measurement of angle clockwise and or anti clockwise is not really relevant as long as it is relevant from a plane
