i need to know what those little black rubber stoppers are called? on the fith fuel injector

mine is leaking feul through the rubber ... but of course its the original

Without a picture or diagram I can't be sure, but it sounds like you are describing what is typically called a fuel injector grommett. If one has deteriorated to the point of leaking they all should be replaced. I've never dealt with diesel engines, but on most gasoline engines they are very easy to replace. With diesel I'm not sure if they may be manufactured as an integral part of the injector due to the very high pressure of the fuel at that point.

There are two nipples on each injector that allow fuel seepage from around the injector pintle to be returned to the injection pump. One end of one (1) injector is capped and the rest are connected in series to the unpressurized chamber of the pump. The circuit is not pressurized. The hose, cap and clamps, if used, are readily available, both from Mercedes and the aftermarket.
