I don't believe there is a colour code for such but Australian Standards AS1657-1992 Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders - Design, construction and installation latest edition may have reference to it. Also, it may be that Signs, Markings & Safety requirements of Australian Standards, the number do not have, may be worth a look.

AS2700 have the the colour code Y14 & etc.

I believe that is a safety requirement.

I need to search deep into the safety standard for the answer.

Does any one know the no.?

No sure about Australia, but in the States, OSHA alternated between yellow and orange every other year. This insured a fresh coat of paint yearly.Perhaps your country is same?
