Inductive heating - looking for publication - offering €50000 reward!

01/26/2007 7:08 AM

Hi

we are looking for publications regarding a inductive heating system for shrink fit
tool holders or similar with a pole shoe touching its front side. The information
would have to be published prior to 6th of April, 1999.

Something like that:

The design of the coil can be different in detail. The principle of function is whats
important

We offer a big reward for anyone able to find what we are looking for until
7th of February 2007. For details see http://www.inductionquest.net

Thanks for helping!

obviously you want prior published data as someone is accusing you of patent infringement. Heating by a transformer to use high current ohmic heating by passing a current through it is not inductive heating, so it may allow you to work around it. ohmic heating would work quite well. and may be more compact as the very low voltage high current can pass through the tool.

Of course, I am speculating

Hi my name is Magdy - if I understand what you mean well; your problem that the shrink fit chuck would move and wear the pole shoe ... if so ; then you will have to put the whole mechanism inside a ball bearing and all parts should move in one piece

thank you Magdy

aurizon is quite right with his assumption. We are trying to prove prior art / state of the art against a utility model.

The chuck is acctually quite solidly mounted in that case.

The important point here is the pole shoe and whether it touches the front face of the chuck (which, currently, is guarded by said utility model ).

If you know of any publication describing such an aplication of inductive heating (including the pole shoe touching the front face) please contact us. All means of contact are listed on our homepage www.inductionquest.net .

Best regards
