RCCB in DC System

is it neccessary to connect a rccb on an outgoing feeder of a dc system?...

Rccbs are usually installed on individual circuits at the distribution board, or sometimes in the feeder to the whole board, depending upon the earthing system employed.

RCCBs are most usually AC-only devices, and will not work in a DC system.

Some countries (including my own, unfortunately) insist on RCCBs being sensitive to pulsed DC, but even these will not work on steady DC.

Do a Google search on 'dc earth fault protection' or 'dc ground fault protection' and you will find numerous websites of manufacturers and distributors of the sort of device that you are seeking.
