micrologix 1400 ethernet access

we connected a pc with a micrologix 1400. the ip address is recognised but no response from processor? error no 0x10 is returned.can any one help.

Such a low error number leads me to believe your cable is bad. Check the computer firewall settings too otherwise the computer may not be able to accept incoming connections from the PLC.
