No Communication - Computer and Rotor Packer Machine

my system could not communicate with our rotor packer machine as a result IO CARD was replaced with a new one yet both of them could not communicate What could be the problem and what should i do

Software not loaded. IP adress not fixed. If on network maybe bad com port or cable. Baud rate not set properly. Upload / Download for software. If you have your program on laptop, connect directly to the rack and see what the communication info is set at and adjust if necessary. Ping the I/O rack and see if your getting a response. Do you get a response on your rack if you flag or operate sensors? How about the power source for the rack? Don't know what system your using or what type of I/O card but try reseating all the cards in the rack and see if that helps. Any fault indicators?

Could be a simple fix or a major problem. Would need to know a lot more particulars.

It may help if you gave us some details of the card. Can you post a picture of it.
