HP Flare Opening Valve Standard Pressure

02/18/2010 7:58 AM

Hello sirs,

Now I am working on modification of ground flare system, which includes both HP and LP flare headers. So could anybody help me to find a criteria or at list to advice a standard for the setting of flare staging valve pressure?

Thanks in advance.

HP and LP flare headers line size varies and material of pipes also varies , due to temperature variation .high pressure to low pressure temperature drop will be occure leads condensate formation in the header and needs proper knockout pot
