Generator +ve Sequence and Zero Sequence Impedance

02/21/2010 11:00 PM

can we find the positive sequence [X,R] and zero sequence impedance [X,R] from the data generator given ? :-

X/R ratio = 10
MVA = 100
kV =132kV
Fault level = 7200

i'm only get to find their generator sub-transient impedance Xd" by this formula :-

generator fault level (MVA) = generator capacity (MVA) / generator subtransietn impedance (Xd")

we can get their Xd" = 1.39%... after that i dont know how to continue their calculation..

nope.. now i'm doing protection study at one of heavy industry in malaysia.. from the study, it must validate with the calculation.

fyi, i have found to solve the zero impedance by this formula :-

Xs(0) = (3 X Base MVA / 1p fault MVA) - 2 Xs(1)

and the problem, i'm do not have data of 1p fault MVA (single phase).. huhuhu..
