Applications for Seamless and Welded Pipe

I'm willing to know about the applications of seamless and welded pipes with regard to the range of working temperature & pressure and kind of fluid( like water/ sour water, sour or sweet hydrocarbon gas/ liquid, acid gas, ...) in which flows. where are they used? or what are the differences between these two type of pipes in view of their applications? I would like to thank anybody to give a perfect explanation/ references/ or standard about this matter.
