Water Sprinkler System

02/24/2010 10:42 AM

Dear All

I'm planning to install water sprinkling system in my factory to control humidity in peak summer.I am working in gulf.

Here i have tunnels of the following measurement

wall height = 5meters,

length of the wall = 25 meters

& the distance between next wall = 1.62 meters

and i have 21 such tunnels.

Can any one guide me/ suggest me or help me in designing this system....

i shall be thankful to you.

note: what capacity of motor to be used,

what will be the friction loss in gi pipe

what type of sprinkle i have to used

how to control the whole system

Regards

jyk

In other words, you wish that we provide you with the complete design plans for the humidity control of your factory, which is situated in the gulf. Please confirm.

Well, if "not exactly"...

can you clear it up a little for us?

Additionally, you ask "what will be the friction loss in gi pipe". Are you using GI pipe, not PVC or similar?

This is to increase the humidity by sprinkling water in, right?

What about legionella pneumophila?

jyk,

You should begin your posts as you did your first one:"im a fresh engineering graduate".

Then you should include sufficient information to allow informed answers.

We have no way of knowing where you are and can only assume that you want to raise the relative humidity of your factory.
