	Why capacitor bank not used for power factor correction in transmission line , whether reactor can use both side of feeder

	There are various reasons the reactors are used in transmission lines. They are used in two fashions: series reactor and shunt reactor. Series reactors are used to limit short circuit levels, inrush currents and harmonic filtering.
