The only really stupid questions are ones that people don't know that answer to but want to find out about but don't ask. So it's a good, relevant question.

A place for stuff that folks want to talk about that does not fit in to any other thread and thus tends to be disruptive when folks want to address something that is off topic. Quite a common occurrences that tend to be disruptive as they are 'Off Topic'

So I thought this might be a good addition as there seems to be a need for it.

Here the 'Topic' is whatever anyone wants to talk about.

So if you have something in particular you want to address and discuss, please post it in the topic so that others can find it easier.

So I created this space for things that don't really need a dedicated thread and aren't really substantial enough for one.

In the UK, we generally party on a Friday/Saturday night. I'm not acquainted with Canadian Sunday, so please excuse any ignorance on my part.

Saturday night tends to be the 'social evening' here.

Friday folks are burnt out from the weeks work, so the hang out at home and relax and recoup a bit.

Sunday evening: work the next morning.

But if you want to arrange 'social gatherings' here at specific times, then please do. Please make a posting in the Topic heading if you have something particular in mind so folks can find out about it.

Drat. This is the US. We don't have socialized medicine. I can't afford enough lithium to make me pleasant. Help!

Do some research, find the closest location of some deposits to you and do some very small scale mining and refining.

How about extreme high pressure 'lithium' grease? Think you can, or should 'stomach that'? Literally!

In either case, I'm glad I won't have to be the 'test subject/guinea pig for this though!
