Rexroth Governor for Hydroelectric Generator

03/19/2010 11:16 AM

Dear ALL

We are using Rexroth governor for our 55MW hydroelectric generators. The oil used in the governor is filtered during annual maintenance. Is it possible to connect a online filteration machine to Rexroth governor for continuous filtering of the oil in the governor ?.

Please guide me

Dear Byju,

You haven't furnished details of the governor such as model and year of manufacture and supply

From my experience I can say that in the older versions of the governor (70s and early 80s) filtering is normally done off line. Governors that have been supplied in the 90s have on line filtration facility. The best method is to consult the manufacturer. As a second line, please furnish the model details and year of supply. Perhaps something will come out of that
