Pressure Control Switch for a Rheem Furnace

03/22/2010 12:22 PM

I have a Rheem furnace model # R GPH-05 EAUER FD5 with a bad pressure control switch. I have purchased a universal for a replacement but cannot seem to figure out what the c.w. setting is. I have all the info that I need can you help me narrow it down.

Thank You

You should set it to .3

The OEM part can be purchased for $60.00 at most all hvac supply houses or online. Click Here LINK.

You should note that it is recommended for you to have a certified company come out and take a look. The problem could be more than the switch or a reason the switch is not closing due to hole in tube or crack in system that could result in serious problems from Co.

It's not worth you life or someone else's.

Good Luck.
