03/28/2010 8:30 AM

Hello everyone

i'd like to know where or how to get the number of rolling elements for the bearing type SKF 6220 to calculate it's frequency since i'm facing a problem of high vibration on motor fitted with this bearing...

Go to skf site www.skf.com

There you can find all the relevant details

Got to products (top bar)

Then Left side bar select Rolling bearings -> Calculations.

In the pop-up box select bearing frequencies,

On the top select bearings

Bearing frequencies

BearingSelect bearing

select bearing number (6220) - there are a few variants there (5 of them 6220 2RS1 to 6220)

Then you have to feed the RPMs and it will give you all the values.

This facility is available in SKF as well as FAG-INA and I am regularly using it.
