Pocket In Pump Out Line?

03/31/2010 7:45 AM

Is it acceptable to have pocket in pumps out (NNF) line to pump. The line is having 2" drain connected to drain system. If pocket is not accepatble then we need to elevate the equipment by another 2000 mm.

Could you please find a way to better clarify your question, possibly with a drawing?

Tim is right - your question is hard to understand. it sounds like the 2" output pipe of your pump has to go down 2m and then back up, but that is just a guess. A sketch would clarify a lot!

What material are you pumping? Is it hot or cold? Is there a check valve to prevent back flow? What kind of pump? Does 'drain' mean into the sewer, or into a tank?

LOTS more details needed!
