These devices transform the electrical current from circular polarization as the current comes off the blades to straight polarization so it will fit into the wires. Otherwise it would just form a circular magnetic field around the wires and be lost.

He is teasing you.(He'll be sitting on the 'naughty step' before the day is done)
A Varistor is used across the voltage lines to reduce overvoltage spikes.
I do not recognize the other device you mention. Maybe you mean power transistor or transformer?

Voltage and power transducers are part of the control circuit (the usual 4-20ma based on the input voltage) we use it in our test bench controls for input to our DAS. For his wind-mill these may be used for some control purpose.

How can you be sure that you know the correct names of the devices you have specified? If you have no clue as to their function, how can you be sure that you have gotten the names right?

Why don't you ask a co-worker who is not a fresher, and maybe understands the function of the "power" panel. That person will know.

This is my only answer. Wait no longer for my reply.

I have to go now and sit on the "naughty step". My dog likes to chase cats! And, I let him.
