If you are asking here, then you should not be trying....

The counter weight size is based on proportion of the con rod weight, or may be a factor in balancing out the reciprocating weight in the case of a machine that is not balance opposed.

Often a 1/3 to 2/3 length proportion is used between the centrifugal mass of the con rod vs the reciprocating mass of the con rod, but this is a rule of thumb only.
