Question About 13 Meter Antenna Painting

Dear sir,

Please can you give me the painting specification for reflector and subreflector paints used so that there is no loss in the signal level tx/rx 13 meter c-band antenna NEC, Japan make

Long ago I used Sherwin-Williams Polane T paint. I think it was "T". This is not an endorsement. Check with S-W, or your favorite paint supplier.

Any way lots of suppliers make low loss paint. I don't know of any "no loss" paints.

Apply per manufacturer's instructions. You'll need to prime (acid wash)if you are painting over bare metal.

Anything you like so long as not metalic paint, as it contains aluminum particles.

which may affect swr

if painting bare aluminum you will need etch primer
