I followed the link in #1, and found a bunch of advertisements for the purchase of tanks, but little information regarding your question.

I assume the true designs of containers is proprietary, thus little will be available. The Cryogenic Society of America: http://www.cryogenicsociety.org/ states:

The purpose and objectives of the Cryogenic Society of America are to:

  • encourage the dissemination of information concerning low temperature processes and techniques
  • bring together those in all disciplines concerned with the applications of low temperature technology
  • promote research and development of low temperature processes by meetings, professional contacts, papers, reports and publications
  • increase public awareness of the usefulness of cryogenic technology

You might search around there a little... you might actually join the society, if this is is a pursuit of yours. I would further assume that as a member, you would have more access to their information.

Please check out www.cryogenicsociety.org. Look under our Publications. There are two publications regarding Cryogenic Tanks. Also, check out our Buyer's Guide. Companies are listed under various categories, including Tanks.

We welcome members, both individual and Corporate Sustaining. Check out the details on our Web site.

Take a look at the latest issue of our magazine, Cold Facts, as well.
