CR4 and the Browsers Used - Limits and Possibilities

04/07/2010 8:30 PM

Since a month now I am member of CR4, using Windows XP home and I read all kinds of comments do this, do that for this when it comes to inserting links, pictures or drawings.

I also have no editor bar and outside this message box I am very limited.

Can someone make a short description on how to get he most out if it.

Should I better work with a different operating system or browser, or both?

I am using Google Chrome. Thank you all.

I'm not familiar yet with Google Chrome and use Safari because I can go back and forth between my hotmail account and CR4 real easily. For both my posts to my own site, or posts with a tool bar, Editor bar? I have to go in using Firefox.

I am now using a used, and not much updated Mac with OSX, and tried recently to do links using Garthh's simple instructions, but it didn't work out.

Others here, or even maybe administrators will give better suggestions than I can. Overall I sympathize as while many were learning computers and software, I was doing something else.

It has been a blessing for me to have a MAC at least, as it seems less vulnerable.

Google Chrome does not show the editor. You can use all the editing codes and achieve the same results, but this very tedious. Either carry on without editing or open CR4 in something else - Explorer or whatever else blows your hair back.

Maybe somone else knows soemthing that I don't?
