In one of my project in algeria,mains fed by genset total load is 145kw.voltage fluctuation problem is more there.I think AVR is required there?friends you people can suggest me make and type of good AVR
In your question there are some more missing information before the voltage fluctuation problem can be addressed. You have to determine what types of loads that are connected. Are there motors that turns on and off? You mentioned tha the total load is 145 KW. What is the total KW capacty of the generator supplying the bus. Is the voltage fluctuation occuring at the bus or at the load end? how far is the load from the main bus? Are the wire sizes installed adequate? If the generator capacity is not adequate to handle cycling loads, fluctuation in voltage is possible.
