Maintenance Engineer Boiler

Education:
• English language, German Nice to have
• Full academic qualification in mechanical engineering
• Sound knowledge of power plant technology and min. 10 years of job experience in the relevant specialized field and the relevant engineering standards e.g. DIN/EN, ASME
• Technical experience in coal-fired power plants: boiler and combustion systems, processes, environmental and machine engineering

Technical qualification:
• Analytical thinking and ability for structured planning, direction of mechanical engineers, foremen and technicians
• Quality- and cost awareness
• Expertise in plant technology: coal-fired power plants, esp. boilers, aggregates, mechanical equipment, processes
• Procedural technical knowledge
Leadership qualification
• Strong leadership
• Structuring and organisation of the discipline
• Supervision and monitoring of the work done by the employees (engineers, technicians, foremen)
• Interdisciplinary co-operation with different departments

Professional experience
• 10 years knowledge of power plant technology: maintenance of boilers, aggregates, equipment, plant processes
• Experience in leadership

Responsibility / Tasks
• Direction of maintenance crew
• Co-ordination of mechanical maintenance activities with operation and electrical/I&C- departments
• Supervision of special service contractors
• Safety measures and procedures
• Maintenance planning and procedures
• Job order control
• Repair/quality control procedures
• Preservation plant performance
• Work instructions
• Safty procedures/instructions
• Reporting plant /Equipment status
• Supervision commissioning
• Quality assurance
• Compilation / control maintenance budget
• Workshop/ equipment, tools, staff
• Application/ improvement CMMS
• Coal quality management

We are searching for employees in permanent possion. The candidate will get an german employment contract. So its essential that our employees own an European/German working permit.
