DC Motor Encoder Fittment Arrangement Run Out Requirement

What is the run out specified for dc motor stub shaft and mounting adaptor for encoder.

At present we are not getting it in controlled way it varies from 0.1mm to 0.4mm.

so any means of reducing it.
