11 / 0.433 kV Transformer

04/19/2010 4:08 AM

For 11/.433 KV transformers.

If the HT cable length exceeds 50 m length, whether it is compulsory to have HT breaker near to transformer (at 11kV side) or not as per IEC standards?

Thanks in advance for the replys.

Maximum of 3m distance in between electrical equipment from where the transformer is tapped needs to provide a circuit breaker as disconnecting means.
