Material for Die

I am looking for suitable material for Dies. these will be used in the press tools and thie properties like hardness, chemical composition, strength etc.

Please tell us about the process, material to be formed, etc. What are the issues of the application, abrasion, loading and volumes.

it is done by forming operation with forming tool. Material : Sheet metal (MS)

Here's a link to Matweb's search page. Enter the properties you need and nav from there. Personally, I've used C7 for steel forming. It's about 55 Rockwell but still machinable if you can find the right shop.
