ultrasonic test

Dear All, what shall be the ultrasonic flaw detectors specification to test a butt weld in a pipe thickness less than 5 mm?

It is not relaible for such a small thickness. It is not allowed by codes, so why do you want to do it?

Not recommended as per codes to perform UT on thicknesses below 5 mm.
