The major equipment used in Gas processing plant:

Separator, Gas Dehydrator, Compressor, Cooler etc.

The major equipment used in Oil processing plant:

Separator (HP, IP, LP), Desalter, Cooler, Heat Exchanger, Hydrocyclone, Gas floatation, Water Injection Pump, Water Lift Pump, Gas Dehydrator, Gas compressor (HP, LP), Knock-out (KO) Drum, Flare etc.

These are the equipment used in conventional processing plant. Equipment used in non-conventional plants (Oil-Sands, Shale oil, CTL, BTL, Shale Gas, CBM etc.) are different.
