Get these ready

  • Taper blank-- two ends circular-- sectors
  • Taper Mandrel Driven rolling mini-mill with open end at Taper roll/or all 3
  • Butt edge pre-forming hand/power Press for pre-bending butt joint edges
  • Pneumatic/mechanical butt joint holder
  • TIG welding machine
  • MIG/MAG welder
  • Seam Welder--- resistance welding roller feeder

Rest is --DO IT.

If You Want Seamless-then you begin with Cylindrical blank correct sized at small end and then bring to final form in a forge-rolling -piercing special mill.

I am not sure what your application is, but I do remember seeing an article on TV one time regarding musical wind instrument manufacturers with some extremely interesting methods of of making all sorts of tapered brass tubes. unfortunately I cannot direct you to any specific Web site, but this might give you a guide.
