Smoke Detector Connection with PLC

Kindly confirm how the smoke detectors are directly connected with PLC.

Easiest way is to use a smoke with a set of dry contacts.

normally the smoke detector connect with bus.

Very unusual.

Ordinarily, smoke detectors are wired to fire alarm panels.
